The Sky is Falling

Today I'm dealing with the aftermath from a hail storm that came through our area like nothing that I've ever seen before - in my entire life!  At first I thought somebody zinged a rock through my back door. Then I saw the look on my employees faces as we heard the rapid fire of what looked and sounded like softballs bouncing off the building, what a surreal moment.  It was almost like chicken little..."the sky is falling" or  "cloudy with a chance of meatballs" but without the laughs!  My car looks like Swiss cheese, my house and tea room are both battered and bruised but thankfully no one was hurt, and all that stuff is really just stuff.  So, I guess  I'll begin dealing with adjusters, contractors, and lots of aspirin. This is one adventure that I'd rather not be on.
